I know. Everybody is into Kindles at the moment but for me there’s no substitute for the feel of a book and the way they smell :).

She is a lesbian Ugandan woman living in the UK and right now, she is very close to being sent back home where a piece of legislation known as KILL THE GAYS is a very big deal. She will be sent back and almost certainly be murdered, unless we pressure the UK Home Secretary Theresa Mays and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to help save her. She fled this persecution eight years ago and considers the UK home now… don’t let them take her from her home. Yesterday, a prominent LGBTQ activist in Uganda was MURDERED. Very little is being done to find his killer. Please, please, please… sign this. This is not about your religious beliefs. This is not about your thoughts on same-sex marriage or homosexuality in general. THIS IS ABOUT SAVING A LIFE. Please don’t let her plea go unanswered. No matter our differences of opinion, life is beautiful and no one deserves to have it ripped away from them for any reason. Help Brenda Namigadde.
